The event will be centered around a guided meditation that seeks to uncover repressed parts of the shadow. This session's theme will hold space to explore and dissect the concept of self and how our own self image has been shaped. Specifically, how we perceive ourselves in relation to others. Do we perceive ourselves from an externalized experience and or an internalized lens? Is there balance between seperateness and connectedness?
Shadow work is about awakening our repressed parts into awareness, exploring how they manifest and the ways in which they limit our wholeness. This meditation will allow space to explore, nurture, and bring these shadow parts into consciousness on a path to self-actualization. Imagery from nature, mythology and music will be used to deepen the experience and alchemize healing.
